Register for the entrance test for Ripon Grammar School
You can use this form to register for your child to sit the entrance test for entry into Ripon Grammar School.
Year 7 entry in September 2027
You should only register if your child is able to attend the entrance test which will take place on Saturday 12 September 2026. This is the only available test day and further details will be provided at the end of August 2026.
For any other year group
Please email schooladmissions@northyorks.gov.uk to obtain a test request form, including:
- your child's name
- your child's date of birth
- the year group they wish to sit the entrance test for

On the registration form you will be given the opportunity to provide details of any special arrangements your child may require to sit the Ripon Grammar School entrance test e.g. a medical condition or special access requirements.
